Pinnacle Views began in late 2014. Gavin Markwell from The Markwell Group (pictured right) purchased the block due to having an excess of equipment and personnel around, and used the estate project as a job to keep the equipment and employees busy between jobs.
Pinnacle Views is near on completion of stage two construction. The first home has already been completed and the second is well on the way. There will only be two stages and only a total of 52 lots.
Pinnacle Views Estate is most suited to second home buyers - families with small children who want a yard for the kids to play in.
Recycling is not new to The Markwell Group. Gavin sees the environmental positives in recycling and that is shown in various ways at Pinnacle Views Estate. Recycling concrete to make road base is not a new idea and is used all over the world and has been for a long time. The Markwell Group has been doing this since 1999. There is a lot of processing and specialised machinery needed to do this. Working with the Townsville City Council and Main Roads, The Markwell Group has refined the process and can produce road base material of the highest grade. Pinnacle Views Estate features the first roads in Townsville approved for the recycled materials to be used as both sub-base and base-course directly under the bitumen. Also trees that needed to be removed to make ways for the roads and house pads have all been mulched up and used to upgrade the soil on site.
Pinnacle Views proximity to the Townsville Hospital,
James Cook University, Lavarack Barracks, and everyday conveniences such as schools, shops, medical facilities and community centres ensure that you have every convenience
at your fingertips.
